Property owners throughout Britain are set to spend an expected £35bn redesigning and making improvements to their homes before the year’s over. Not surprisingly, painting and decorating remaining a homeowners priority.
Notwithstanding the nation’s present financial and political instability, six out of ten Brits look set to sprinkle the money on home improvements, decorating and renovations to the tune of about £1,500 per individual project.
Painting and decorating will be the main focus of individuals (62%), while the kitchen (25%), bathrooms (24%) and bedroom (23%) are the rooms well on the way to be spruced up by homeowners who are looking to refresh their cooking, washing and sleeping zones.
