The calming hue, described by Dulux as a “warm neutral with a hint of heather”, was announced alongside other colour palette predictions as part of the leading paint brand’s annual trend forecast. This theme of the home as a sanctuary is reflected in the Colour of the Year, which is inspired by the “beautifully warm wooden materials being used in all kinds of interior decorating and architecture” to create a welcoming environment.
