Painted Garage Door in Cassiobury Estate – Watford

The customer recently had new windows and doors fitted to their house on the Cassiobury Estate in Watford. The old existing garage door needed to match the colour of the new windows and doors to complete the look.

We opted for a durable external satin finish paint to replicate the new windows. To perfectly match the factory finished windows and doors, we opted for a specially manufactured paint match using the RAL colour system, which is the European colour standard for defining standard colours for varnish, powder coating and plastics.

Because of the darkness of the colour, we opted for 4 coats with extensive preparation between coats to ensure an accurate depth of colour and near factory finish. To finish the look, we also repainted the frame, facias and soffits to match.
