The shower was ripped out of this ground floor bathroom to make way for a home office. The builder fitted a new floor, new skirting boards and the majority of the room was replastered and brand new recessed downlighting installed.
We were greeted straight away with our first challenge where the previous decorator had not prepped the plaster correctly and as a result, the existing paint was flaking away from the walls. To be entirely safe, we stripped all the existing paint back to the original plaster to ensure a sound surface for the new paint.
The extra work was well worth it and a simple but stylish paint scheme (and our hard work!) transformed this once bathroom into a pleasurable space to work.
